Hi, I'm Sophie!

I have been involved in Natural Health for a very long time. Food and healthy eating have been an interest of mine for many years. As a young person I grew herbs and have always enjoyed gardening. In my late teens I suffered from migraines and found that eating the leaves of a feverfew plant, which I had growing, I discovered first hand the wonderful benefits of herbs. It sparked a passion to learn more and ever since I have been on an exciting journey of engaging in the art of natural medicine.

I am passionate about helping people to reach their health goals naturally and will guide you through your diet, together with the use of herbs and supplements, to gain the best possible health and an understanding of what you can do to help yourself to achieve the results you want. Education is paramount and with careful guidance clients gain an insight into how to achieve their health goals. I believe everyone should be treated as an individual and therefore each treatment protocol is tailor made to suit each client specifically to their needs.

Having been married to a chef, food has always been a big part of life for us, we have spent many hours discussing our meal plans! I use food as medicine, but know how important it is for food to taste good as well as be good for you. I have spent years devising recipe ideas that allow food to be adaptable to specific health needs as well as still being enjoyable.

Recently I have been expanding my expertise into counselling as I have found that unresolved trauma or ACE's (adverse childhood events) and other emotional concerns has a huge impact on how successful treatment can be.

Other areas of special interest for me include; Women's Health, Gut Health, Anxiety and Depression, Allergies, Skin Conditions and Weight Management.

I am an Accredited Member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society, (ATMS).
